I used 7(heaping) tablespoons of the hibiscus power and 3(heaping)tablespoons of alma to my last Jamila henna(used 200g)mix. My hair came out a wonderful red color that's a little on the darker/subdued side. But the high lights and low lights that showed up in my hair are beautiful!

I henna my hair every 2-3 weeks to cover my fast growing roots. I add a teaspoon of hibiscus powder and sometimes a teaspoon of bhringraj powder to my henna paste. I found out neither hibiscus or bhringraj or both powders combined dilutes the color of the henna because I still get the same bright copper color every single time I henna. My hair is very thick and full of body for a week after the henna treatment, so the hibiscus must be doing its wonders!
